Müller-Thurgau / Rivaner

Named by its cultivator Prof. Müller from Thurgau, Switzerland, this wine was very popular in the 1960s and ’70s. A modern version of Müller-Thurgau, called Rivaner, is cultivated nowadays.

In general, Müller-Thurgau is rather simple with a low acidity level that loses its consistence after a while. Therefore, this wine should be drunk at a young age accompanied by light dishes.
